Population-wide cardiovascular prevention programs likely to reduce costs

ST LOUIS (MD Consult) – Any intervention producing even a small reduction in any cardiovascular risk factor is likely to produce a net cost saving on the population level, suggests a modeling study in the August 13, 2011, British Medical Journal.
